Energized Solutions Conducting Free Gardening Workshops
Energized Solutions is working with the Central Basin Municipal Water District to offer “FREE” gardening workshops for residents without irrigation systems to teach them about water conservation and water efficient landscape design principles. Energized Solutions has developed this program to promote the California Friendly Landscape h.e.l.p. (high efficiency living program) and has been conducting free seminars throughout the Central Basin Municipal Water District and its member retail agencies since September, 2009. Energized Solutions was awarded the contract through the Central Basin Municipal Water District to teach this innovative water conservation program to lower income families within the CBMWD district.
The h.e.l.p. program will reach out to at least 600 participants at various locations within the CMBWD district. The courses cover such topics as landscape design, budgeting, native plants and irrigation.
The next class is scheduled for March 20th, from 10am – 12pm. and will be conducted at Parnell Park in Whittier located at 15390 Lambert Road, Whittier, CA 90604. All participants who stay for the entire seminar are provided “Irrigation Kits” that include advanced and easy to use water saving devices.
